Swiss {ai} Weeks 2026 @inpeek

On 29 September, we had the pleasure of welcoming numerous guests to our office at PostParc Bern as part of the Swiss {ai} Weeks 2026. Under the motto Trust is good, metrics are better, the evening focused on one central question: How can AI be used in companies today in a meaningful, reliable, and practical way?
With two different perspectives on AI in production — ranging from the measurable quality of existing applications to autonomous enterprise systems — the evening offered an exciting mix of practical insights, technology, and a look into the future. The event concluded with an apéro and many engaging conversations and discussions.

Practice Meets the Future
The event kicked off with Nicolas Wyss, AI Engineer at Inpeek. Using a production AI system from a customer service environment as an example, he demonstrated just how complex modern AI applications have become. The focus was on questions such as: How can the quality of an AI system be measured? How can we determine whether a change has actually led to an improvement? And how can we maintain an overview as agents and workflows become increasingly complex? The audience gained valuable insights into topics such as evaluation, observability, and the continuous optimisation of AI systems in production.
In the second presentation, Anna Dobrowolski from SAP took the audience on a journey into the future of enterprise software. At the centre was the concept of the “Autonomous Enterprise”: companies in which intelligent assistants and AI agents no longer merely support individual tasks, but accompany entire business processes or even execute parts of them autonomously. The presentation clearly demonstrated how the role of traditional enterprise systems is evolving and what opportunities AI may create for businesses in the years ahead.
Swiss {ai} Weeks 2026 – Our Takeaways
The conversations during and after the presentations once again made one thing clear: interest in AI is high, while at the same time there is a growing demand for concrete real-world examples and a realistic view of the technology. This is exactly where we want to make a difference. What excites us is not only what AI makes possible, but above all how companies can use it to create genuine added value.
We were especially pleased by the many engaging discussions during the apéro that followed. Whether sharing experiences from ongoing projects, discussing challenges in implementing AI, or exploring questions about the future of agents and enterprise systems, the exchange was inspiring, critical, and practical at the same time.
A big thank you to all our guests, speakers, and everyone involved who made the evening possible. We are already looking forward to the next opportunity to discuss the future of AI together. 🚀
