The introduction of the new SAP Competency Framework at the beginning of 2025 brought change to the SAP partner landscape. Higher certification standards, more verifiable project successes, and a clear focus on cloud services significantly raised the bar.
The new framework is based on a points-based system that includes:
- Points for levels achieved within the areas of expertise (e.g., BTP or private cloud)
- Points for the deployed annual contract value (dACV) from cloud projects
Gold status is achieved with 500 points or more.
Our starting point in spring 2025: 125 points – and thus a temporary downgrade to silver status. It was clear to all of us that this could and should only be temporary! With a great deal of commitment and motivation, we worked together to pursue our ambitious plan to regain gold status before the end of the year.
Our path was straightforward and determined:
- SAP BTP Expert Level = 150 points
- RISE with SAP Private Cloud ERP Essential Level = 100 points
- Submit all relevant cloud projects to achieve the required dACV = 250 points
At the end of October 2025, we were proud to announce: We are once again an SAP Gold Partner!
For us, this success means much more than just a seal of approval. It demonstrates the comprehensive and up-to-date expertise of our consultants, our ability to implement complex cloud projects, and above all, our ability to achieve great things together as a team. A big thank you to everyone who contributed with certifications, project submissions, and dedication! We are ready for the next challenges – and many more golden moments!
