One team and 720 trees
The inpeek Environmental Initiative 2026 – Planting Trees Near Kernenried
Our 2024 Christmas Campaign Vote took a sustainable approach: Our customers were able to actively help us choose the team initiative through which we could work together to make a positive difference for society and the environment. The response was enthusiastic and resulted in a close, neck-and-neck race between two favored initiatives. Ultimately, the decision last year was to combat harmful invasive plant species. But the “planting trees” initiative never quite left our minds.
Even at Christmas 2025, our guiding principle remained: moving away from the traditional consumer mindset and back to the original spirit of sharing and giving. Our experience had shown us how fulfilling and entertaining it can be to actively pitch in together on a project for a good cause. What could be more natural than to put the second favorite initiative into action as well?
No sooner said than done. Very early in the morning on April 11, 2026, an extremely energetic team gathered near Kernenried—and this time, we also had customer support with us. Under the guidance of the Burgdorf Hunting and Wildlife Conservation Association, we swung pickaxes and shovels to make room for the young saplings. Refreshments and a great atmosphere were included.
The result is impressive: a total of 720 young trees were planted!
