Only one month to go until the DSAG Technology Days 2025! This year’s venue, the RheinMain Congress Center in Wiesbaden, is almost right on our doorstep. We are very pleased that we can actively participate with a presentation together with our customer Regio iT!
Under the motto “Strategy Royale: Call, Raise or Fold?”, the two-day event will be all about the long-term, strategic and secure alignment of SAP systems in the interests of users – a key topic that we are also consistently focusing on. “Integration and setup of a multi-client Fiori Hybrid Landscape in SAP BTP and SAP Build Work Zone (Standard Edition)”

Abstract: As the largest municipal IT service provider in NRW, Regio IT operates a complex SAP HCM environment for public institutions such as municipalities, schools, energy suppliers and waste disposal companies as well as non-profit organizations. Until now, employees at these institutions have not been able to access ESS/MSS self-services, or only to a very limited extent, which means that many processes have to be carried out in parallel, redundantly and without integration. By setting up a central entry point with SAP BTP & SAP Build Work Zone (Standard Edition), it has been possible to provide internal employees and external partners with direct, secure and standardized access to ESS/MSS applications and HCM processes. In particular, issues and challenges had to be resolved when integrating existing Fiori applications from a multi-client on-premise SAP environment and when setting up a central IAM architecture based on SAP Cloud Identity Services for different user groups and integrating other SAP Cloud Services and external 3rd party identity providers.
