New Success Stories:BLS Key Resource Planning and Universityof Basel Migration Travel Management
The aim of the BLS Netz AG project was to ensure that the economic deployment of all key resources (personnel, rolling stock and machinery) could be guaranteed and evaluated by means of expedient medium- and long-term planning in SAP ERP through modified planning processes and higher-level control concepts. For this purpose, we designed and implemented a uniform, clear and easy-to-use planning tool – the basis for more transparency and overview. The new app thus contributes significantly to the optimization of availability, better capacity utilization and higher profitability.
As part of the introduction of S/4HANA Finance, we supported the University of Basel with the migration of the existing travel management solution to the new S/4HANA system. Among other things, the previously individually programmed expense process was replaced. The complexity was massively simplified: From three different workflows with over 55 steps, a single lean workflow was defined.
