Exciting research by our colleague José Montañana in collaboration with the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV):
Over the course of a decade, student pre-registration data was analyzed by modeling it as directed graphs. Subsequently, a novel adaptive pruning algorithm helped identify meaningful shifts in student demand over time.
These findings can serve as a valuable basis for decision-making for higher education institutions seeking to adapt their academic offerings to changing trends and the spirit of the times.
